Honored guests, Dodge County Board of Commissioners and staff, families, friends, and clients –

 

On behalf of the Community Service Board of Middle Georgia,  we welcome you to this

 

Open House Ceremony for Building Hope Products & Services.

 

We especially appreciate the Dodge County Commissioners’ willingness to fund this facility through the State Block Development grant.

 

It is the goal and the HOPE of the Community Service Board of Middle Georgia that this facility will provide a person-centered day services for adults with developmental disabilities, a place where staff are dedicated to assisting individuals in acquiring or improving self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills, and a place where our participants can learn ways to enhance every day skills for living in the common community where those we serve live, work, worship, and socialize.

 

It is our HOPE that from the services provided here, that individuals will be active participants within their own community and will have the abilities to function independently both inside and outside of their homes.

 

We HOPE this building will be a place not only for learning, but a place of comfort, happiness, and refuge.  A place of enhancement for the lives of those served.

 

It is our HOPE that you, as a community of individuals, will continue to support us in our efforts, as we all work together for the benefit of others.
